Grievance Officer & Redressal
Last updated 15 August 2026
GC Overseas operates as an intermediary / air-travel agent — we book airline seat blocks; we are not the operating carrier. In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to receive and resolve complaints about our platform and services. If something has gone wrong with a booking, a payment, a refund, or the way we handle your data, this page tells you whom to contact and what to expect.
1. Grievance Officer
- Name: [Grievance Officer name]
- Designation: Grievance Officer
- Email: info@gcoverseas.com
- Phone: [phone] (Monday–Saturday, business hours IST)
- Address: [Registered office address], [City], Punjab, India
For routine booking and refund queries you may continue to write to our support desk at info@gcoverseas.com; matters that remain unresolved should be addressed to the Grievance Officer above.
2. Redressal timelines
We follow the timelines mandated by Rule 4 of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:
| Stage | Commitment | Counted from |
|---|---|---|
| Acknowledgement | Within 48 hours | Receipt of your complaint |
| Resolution | Within one month (30 days) | Receipt of your complaint |
Where a matter depends on the operating airline (for example a fare-rule refund or a schedule change), we pursue it with the airline on your behalf and keep you updated, though the airline's own processing time may apply to amounts it controls.
3. How to file a grievance
Send an email to info@gcoverseas.com (or write to the postal address above). To help us resolve your complaint within the committed timeline, please include:
- Your booking reference / PNR and the passenger name(s), if applicable.
- Your contact details — the email and phone registered with us.
- A clear description of the issue, including relevant dates and amounts.
- Supporting documents — the e-ticket, invoice or credit note, payment proof, and any prior correspondence.
You will receive an acknowledgement with a reference number, and a named point of contact until the matter is closed.
4. Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response, or the timeline above has lapsed, you may escalate through the appropriate channel:
- Carriage-related issues (delays, cancellations, denied boarding, baggage, refunds set by fare rules) rest with the operating airline, whose Conditions of Carriage govern actual travel. Contact the airline's nodal / grievance officer, and you may also lodge a complaint with the DGCA via the AirSewa portal.
- Unresolved consumer disputes may be taken to the National Consumer Helpline by dialling 1915 or through the National Consumer Helpline portal, and thereafter to the appropriate District / State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- Data-privacy grievances — if your complaint concerns your personal data and our response does not satisfy you, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, after first raising the matter with our Grievance Officer.
This page forms part of our public legal terms and is read together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Conditions of Carriage. Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian law.
